Karl Lagerfeld may have called Adele ‘too fat’ but he clearly hadn’t seen this month’s issue of Vogue. The 23-year-singer graces the magazine’s cover in their March edition and clearly doesn’t have a problem with her weight. Proving that you don’t have to be stick thin to be on the front of one of the world’s most popular fashion publications, Adele looks stunning as she stares into the camera.
With her volumised hair blow dried away from her face, the Someone Like You singer appears to be wearing minimal make-up with just a flick of black eyeliner and light pink lipstick visible on her face. Proving she’s more than confident with her body, she wears a low-cut black lace top that highlights her bust and shows she’s not at all self-conscious of her size.
‘I’ve never wanted to look like models on the cover of magazines. I represent the majority of women and I’m very proud of that,’ Adele said in response to Lagerfeld’s recent comments.
After her Grammy triumph Adele has revealed plans to take a five-year break from music to focus on her relationship.The Rolling in the Deep singer wants to focus on spending time with new beau Simon Konecki because when she has prioritised her career in the past it has led to heartbreak.
Asked about her future plans, she told US Vogue magazine : ‘I am f***ing off for four or five years. If I am constantly working, my relationships fail.
‘So at least now I can have enough time to write a happy record. And be in love and be happy.
‘And then I don’t know what I’ll do. Get married. Have some kids. Plant a nice vegetable patch.’
‘I am not bipolar, but I go from, ‘Oh, my God, I love you’ to, ‘Get the f**k out of my house!’ really quickly. And I never sit there and talk about it. I give them the silent treatment.
‘They’re like, ‘Tell me what I’ve done so I can say sorry!’ What else? It used to be that I loved a drink a bit too much. But I don’t drink no more.
‘ The good things: I am attentive. I will do anything for my man. I am a good cook. I’m funny. Always want to have sex – Well, most girls don’t!’
