I am Jessica Lovely, a fashion designer currently based in the gorgeous city of Chicago.
I am in love with everything artistic and enjoy creating designs, developing innovative looks, and writing for my site [jsolovely.com]
I am a fashion:
Designer, Illustrator, Stylist, Writer, & Currently attend the Illinois Institute of Art, Chicago for Fine Arts of Applied Science.
I grew up in a small town of Metro Detroit unsuitable for a jazzy young girl with glamorous dreams…. By the fifth grade Los Angeles was my New home town and my skin had never seemed so bronze. Being raised on the West coast definitely shaped my artistic vision and expression, This combination of styles truly enhances my inspiration and artistic vision
I enjoy designing classic silhouettes- merged with innovative styles and bold trends which create the perfect palette for a fashion forward look.
It is SO important to me to reflect not only on the aesthetic beauty of our apperance, but also to connect to the depth of our inner most self. Because by accepting ourselves and being fully what we are, our presence can make others happy.
My style is an assertive confirmation of my inner beauty,
which is confident and passionate, just as I am.
This year I was selected from thousands of applicants as one of 7 finalists on the reality series, So You Wanna Be a Designer, presented by Kenmore. I challenged, pushed, and out did myself- landing a spot in the final 2. Designing for 70 hours straight, with no sleep and cameras in my face watching my every action was extremely difficult, however, i feel as if i emerged as a new stronger, better, and more dedicated designer.

While maintaining concentration for my love of fashion design, it is important to me to also explore the entire world of all that is Jazzy. I noticed a lack of not just information, but more importantly, inspiration among ourselves in the artistic community. I developed Everything Jazzy to help absorb that void and reflect artistic relevance in our lives. I look forward to keeping everyone engaged in everything hott, HERE, and also delivering peeks of the looks from my collection via my Clothing Line “Everything Lovely”.-Love your Earth.
